I've stood up a #Manyfold instance to self-host my #3DPrinting models! The federation story seems woefully incomplete, unfortunately, but otherwise it's a pretty decent system. I can't say I agree with their file organization structure decisions (no folders, but model files are automatically split into groups based on file name stems).

I'll probably be linking here first from now on for my models, though I'm uploading them to Thingiverse beforehand so that I can use the import feature of Manyfold and avoid double data entry.

Ok I'm confused with #Manyfold. I have my main account and just wanted to upload a model. I do however have to select a Creator, but the selector dialog is empty. I DO have a "my models" section on my account, why can't I put myself as a creator? I also can't create a new creator with my name because the name is already in use??

Trying to run #manyfold again, looks a LOT more polished than earlier. Currently fighting the Fediverse Integration 🤔

Parametrický kabelový řetěz. Původně pro Sovol SV07, ale určitě najde využití i kdekoliv jinde.
#WIP protože chybí univerzální články pro začátek a konec a model postrádá vnitřní úkosy pro pevnější model.
STL jsou spíš pro představu, hlavní kouzlo se děje ve FreeCADu 🙂
