Loved all the #TommyHambleton series by #ManningColes when I was a kid. Except for universally reviled The House at Pluck's Gutter. Read it? Adelaide M died, & Cyril C tried to solo. Proving that Adelaide had been the one with the light touch & almost all the talent. (Like Dick Francis & wife.)
Also MC's 4 lighthearted ghost stories: the trio of Brief Candles, Happy Returns, & Come and Go, plus The Far Traveler. Whimsical old-fashioned fun.

Wow, a rare sighting of a Wibberleyan in the wild! In (distant) memory #TheMouseThatRoared was delightful. Tully Bascomb, Princess Gloriana, those 20 doughty longbowmen who invade NYC…Thanks for the reminder.
