The time has come where I need to prepare for my upcoming surgery and hospital trip. Puste obietnice przedwyborcze polityków, głoszone ze scen, dotyczące rzekomej troski o to, aby osoby LGBT+ mogły bezpiecznie i godnie żyć w Polsce, budzą jedynie irytację i nie dają nadziei na realną zmianę. Walka o uzyskanie przez osoby LGBT+ pełni praw trwa już ponad 20 lat. W tym czasie wiele razy nas oszukiwano i instrumentalnie traktowano jako narzędzie w kampaniach wyborczych.
Obserwujemy ciągłą zmienność opcji politycznych u steru władzy, także naszej samorządowej, podczas gdy my, osoby LGBT+, ciągle pozostawione jesteśmy samym sobie.
Dlatego też Mozaika pragnie skupić swoją uwagę na budowaniu oddolnej, lokalnej siatki wsparcia i wzajemnej pomocy.

Ponadto mało kto pamięta o tym, że dzień wcześniej, 15.12.1981 roku, żołnierze i milicjanci strzelali do górników strajkujących w kopalni „Manifest Lipcowy” (ob. „Zofiówka”) w Jastrzębiu-Zdroju. Tam nikogo nie zabili, ranili czterech górników, a jednego pobili do nieprzytomności. Było to pierwsze strzelanie do osób strajkujących po 13.12.1981.
