The police thriller/slasher #ManiacCop is messing up my #80BMovieChallenge because I can’t tell if it’s really a B movie. In every aspect, the movie is superior to the other contestants in this challenge and plays in a different league. It’s solid! With #BruceCampbell, and a very surprising appearance by #SamRaimi. Maniac Cop 2. Absolute best in class car mayhem and probably the longest (non-fatal) full body burn effect in film history. Blue Underground UHD is gorgeous with eye-popping, sparks, neon, flames and incredibly detailed grimy New York (and LA) street scenes. Like a house party of beloved character actors as well. #maniaccop #horrorreviews #stuntman

I'm not a particular fan of the #slasher genre, but I've been a big fan of the #ManiacCop series since I was a teenager. The sequel is one of the rare cases that's widely regarded as better than the first. It doesn't get enough love IMHO. If you like #action, #slasher, #thriller, #schlocky #Bmovies then it's worth a watch if you get the chance. I've linked the trailer - caution: it was produced at a time when trailers didn't care about giving away plot points lol
