"Maniac" is a song by American musician #MichaelSembello, co-written with Dennis Matkosky, and best known for its inclusion on the #soundtrack of the 1983 film #Flashdance. Originally conceived as a darkly humorous track inspired by a television report concerning a serial killer, and the 1980 horror film #Maniac, the song was later rewritten with new lyrics at the request of Flashdance director #AdrianLyne.

Perhaps I'm just not much of a concert goer when it comes to popular music; when I was younger, I attended very few rock concerts.
On the other hand, I could be missing out on something wonderful, which is why I am always keen to read thoughtful fan accounts of Kpop concerts.
My main reason, however, for posting this video, which was recorded earlier this year, is to show the shorter hair that SinB had then.
I know that long tresses make up part of the visual culture of traditional youthful femininity, but I love to see idols with bobs and shorter hairstyles in general -- they can look so chic!
In addition, "Maniac" is always fun.

How old were you when Maniac was released? I was 5, I heard it in a compilation LP called Monster 83 (I know it's from Flash Dance). I remember being OBSESSED with that song - it's still one of my favorites. This video explains a bit about its magic!
