  1. Bit of a walk to my hotel - 1.3 km 17 mins or so (a bit longer because I was wheeling my suitcase along and stopped to take pics)
Lovely cool weather and nice walk

  2. @technofeliz @oschwand @temptoetiam @bbecquet Chez les Slovaques c'est moins intéressants mais ils ont quand même fait quelque chose sur ce thème qui attire les touristes. #manholecover

  3. Made my way to #kyoto btw. Yesterday I restocked my tea supply in #uji, the part of Kyoto which is known for their high quality tea products.

  5. @davidnjoku It was requested and I am glad to meet the demand of fresh #manholecover pics! Today I just wandered around the city, doing some more or less window shopping. Didn't find anything for me except some earrings, but I probably found every okonomiyaki themed manhole cover. #hiroshima #okonomiyaki (1/3)

  6. @davidnjoku Sure! Still have one in my camera roll. Seems like here in the Hatchobori area, every #manholecover is unique and displays one different style of okonomiyaki. I don't know how many there are 😅

  7. I am now in #hiroshima, the capital of my favorite dish 🤩 And the #manholecover game is also strong here.

  8. Nagasaki has made a lot of trading with chinese and dutch people, so you can see a lot of these cultural influences throughout the city. But apparently they also dealed with the witches back in the day 🤷‍♂️

  9. In my defense, I had no idea that #ManholeCoverMonday was a thing here, or I'd have been participating long ago. Bits of artistic infrastructure fascinate me. Here's the first one I could find on my phone, on the grounds of the former #ValleyForge General Hospital, a military hospital now used for a Christian college. I'm not sure which foundry the 'W' represents – it appears to say "Contractors F[oun]dry Inc", and Phila, 1942.
