  11. Hoy me vino a la mente el #CanalDeLaMancha, mencioné que en inglés se llama "The English Channel" y me di cuenta que siempre pensé que #LaMancha de #DonQuijote (y el queso #Manchego) y el canal compartían el origen del nombre. Pero No.
    El canal toma su nombre de "el mar de la manga" en #francés «mèr de la manche» por su forma y la región central de #España lo toma del árabe Al-Mansha «لامانچا» "tierra seca"

  22. I love #cheese. 🧀 Hands down favorite food. Sometimes I want a toothy aged #manchego, sometimes a silky soft #burrata di #bufala. Sometimes it's just run of the mill cheddar. Works in Indian cuisine. #paneer Works in European. #parmesan Sometimes it's a snack. Sometimes most of a meal. So please pass the block or the plate or the bowl.
