This is #Manarola, another coastal town in #Italy, shot by Timothy A. Gonsalves; it’s a cropped version of the one he posted on Wikipedia. My interpretation is drawn in #watercolor #ColoredPencil. It’s A6. Drawing this was a good lesson in #perspective because the buildings aren’t built in parallel rows. So each building has its own two convergent points on the horizon line. I can’t decide if I like this composition well enough to turn it into a painting, or if I should move on to the next one.

Manarola Cinque Terre Italy

Manarola may be the oldest of the towns in the Cinque Terre, with the cornerstone of the church, San Lorenzo, dating from 1338. The local dialect is Manarolese, which is marginally different from the dialects in the nearby area.
