Six months ago #oligarchs were bellowing their intent to up-sticks from #NYC and get as far away as possible from the #MetGala should #Mamdami get elected. I’m sure some will leave in a snit, but I’m yet to see any reportage that aligns with last year’s #billionaire bluster
For those that choose to stay and don’t want to pay taxes on their luxe apartments, selling is always an option. Proceeds can be rolled into hotel stays instead. This is not complex

As someone who lives in supposedly "socialist" Netherlands, it's nice to see that our growing #socialist movement is destroying the US from the inside. First, we take Manhattan - then, we take Berlin, New Jersey. Before you know it, Americans will be riding the bus for free and cycling safely on bike lanes.

If you know people who are on the fence about Mamdami, talk to them: there's a lot of misinformation to be countered.
The entire country is counting on this race to force change within the #DemocraticParty, or at least undermind #Democrat Leadership.

Gotta take a moment to love #ZohranMamdani.
If #EricAdams and #AndrewCuomo both agree that you are going to destroy everything the entrenched leaders of the #DemocraticParty have built over their decades in office, then you must be doing something right. Always go against men who reach for bribes with one hand and non-consenting women with the other. #Mamdami may not be battle-tested, and I'm sure he's going to have some hard lessons to learn, but he seems like the kind of guy who will be a much needed wrecking ball for the rampant #corruption in #NYC #politics.
...and it looks like a lot of #NewYorkCity agrees: he's in the lead at 45%, higher than any of the other dozen #candidates.
If you are in #NYC, be sure to get out there and #VOTE. And don't stop there, do what you can to talk to anyone who's on the fence about this clearly upstanding and otherwise normal #NewYork citizen, and support his campaign. But most importantly, VOTE BY NOVEMBER 4TH!

Unlike many of Zohran Mamdani's transportation proposals, fare-free buses are a terrible idea for NYC.
The cost would be astronomical and the benefits meh. If Mamdani can somehow find $1B/yr for the MTA, there are many better ways to spend it.
