The first time I tried #Malort was at a sushi joint in Tremont/Cleveland. It gave my tongue a hernia.

Now that there's a #chicago #pope , hoping to see the ceremonial wine replaced with Malört. That'll weed out the weak of faith real quickly.

Imagine an ogre. Now imagine this ogre has strolled around town after Christmas season and eaten all the discarded trees off the curb. Including artificial ones. Then the ogre, realizing these are not food for humanoids, vomited the whole lot into a big vat, and left it for a few months. Then a goblin comes along, distills it, bottles it, and convinces your friends to say to you, "you have to try this".

Here's a funny factoid about #Malort. It started in #Chicago and is now produced in Chicago again. But for many years, production was in Florida. So for a time, Malort was truly the #FloridaMan of liquor.
