Went to Kallis on Monday, a calm day, an overcast day, warmer in both air and water than it ‘looks’.
Painted it.
Realizing, I enjoy ‘not trying to make it look exactly like what I am painting, rather, inspired by, and letting it become what it becomes.’ I think that’s a liberating viewpoint for me, a playful and more lighthearted way of approaching this #dailydrawing-project of mine.
