Fun fact about me: I am also a social researcher. I have a PhD in social science and conduct qualitative, feminist research.
One outcome of my research with end of life doulas in four countries is a standardised approach to creating and maintaining micro compassionate community networks for those who want to die at home. Because carer burnout is a huge problem in terms of public health - and the Mallon Model helps prevent carer burnout.
This model also works for disability and long-term rehabilitation home support.
