Ça me saoule. Le ministre Clément Beaune se garagarise de distribuer des petites bouteilles d'eau aux voyageurs, générant plein de déchets plastiques, au lieu de faire installer des fontaines d'eau potable.
Et ça fait plus d'un an que la loi l'y oblige, c'est pas nouveau !

Behaviorally - a #maladaptation is a trait that is (has become) more harmful than helpful, in contrast with an #adaptation, which is more helpful than harmful.
On average (population #statistics) people have inherited an adaptation so they perceive (sense) polluted water as distasteful.
In contrast, on average, people have inherited a maladaptation so that they don't perceive polluted air as "distasteful" (smelling "bad").

This is the first autumn in a few years that I haven't been involved in organising #COP or other intense #ClimateChange #ClimateHeritage events. Other than the feeling there is something I should be doing it's a good time to contemplate how effective these things are. Going to try to start my time here with some reflections on #ClimateInertia #ClimateInaction #Maladaptation talking shops, greenwashing and how if we are feeling comfortable we probably haven't properly understood the problems
