And they're interpreting their fierce mother role both splendidly.
That being said it's a #makjang that will end up having 120 episodes of 30 min each.
There's family drama, wealthy people (not truly chaebols in this one) and illegitimate children.
If you like all that, then it's a #kDrama for you.

Nearly 1/3 through #kDrama #IHaveALover and really struggling with it. The idea of a drop is looming larger not because of the makjang, which it's executing perfectl, but for the HOORID ML. To describe his behaviour toward his (un)dead wife as troglodytic would be to overstate his evolution. It makes all their scenes uncomfortable to watch, despite the fun of the #makjang madness

@ronsboy67 my own definition of #makjang is based on these criteria:
1️⃣ OTT acting reactions, involving shouting, food or beverage slapping, beatings, etc
2️⃣ At least one chaebol family
3️⃣ At least one illegitimate child, ignoring to be one
4️⃣ At least one love story between a member of the chaebol family and a middle-to-low class character
4️⃣ An evil plot to get the control of a company or a corporation.

A 54-episode #makjang that is unconventional in many ways.
The traditional Korean values and moral standards are highlighted like in any other contents of the sort, however the context upholding those standards has a modern take.

Some romances weren't developed properly while others were refreshing. The acting had some issues because of plastic surgery, nevertheless it's a cheerful one.

This time I'm watching this #makjang for the actresses. #Uee has charmed me in #LiveYourOwnLife and #LimJiYeon was a phenomenal villain in #TheGlory. She's a super sweet friend in High Society and I'm loving it!

I wrote about this #kdrama recently.
I didn't expect anything, I just started watching it to know what Korean ajummas watch. It was fun to learn about Korean culture and hyper-dramaaa. Let's be honest, it's been that way until episode 32. But afterwards oh boy... Each episode better than the previous one.
