I discovered this week my favourite linen skirt has a hole in the pocket. I finally say down this evening to try and sew it up. Only to realise it's a lot bigger than I thought. I think this needs a patch, rather than just sewing it up. Which means I now need to find a suitable scrap to patch it with. This is no longer a 5 minute job...
