Tried maitake mushrooms for the first time yesterday. Sautéed them in butter and then put them on a burger with Swiss cheese. Also had extra as a side. Very delicious! Meaty favor and texture. The only minor downside was the odd odor in my house after cooking them. I think I’ll start trying other unique #mushrooms that I’ve never eaten before.
