Wegen April-Wetter ist mein geplante Ausflug zur Öko Insel #Mainau vertagt worden 🤷‍♂️

Laut Internet-Reviews soll es wohl auch #Bio Essen in der Schwedenschenke auf der Insel geben. Und ein eBoot zwischen Insel Mainau und #Unteruhldingen, dort gibt es z.B. das Pfahlbauten #Museum

Last night while watching the movie "The Holiday" by #candelight I grabbed this shot because it looked #magical. The #ChristmasTree was a thrift store purchase a few years ago. The #gnomes are from #sweden but purchased at #Mainau in #Germany. Sometimes its the collection of little things seen in just the right light that delights us. However happy or dark your #christmas may you find some magic. Maybe all that is needed is to light a #candle.

PS the colors are the same as the sunset I posted lastnight.

Some tourist-around afterwork shipping had to happen today. Took the last ship from #Konstanz to #Mainau, only to spontaneously decide to stay until #Meersburg because of the warm sun and early sunset. 😁☺️

Despite my usual habit of walking back home I felt lazy today and took the last possible boat back. As it's summer and high season, there's a *really* late boat back from #Mainau. That it was like a fully fledged #Sunset Tour 😍 - just without the advertising and the crowds. 😁

Visited the Hortensia path at #Mainau today. Or better: discovered it! How could I miss that beauty all the years? Also they all smell so nice: flowery yet not too intense.

Spontaneous after-work recharging boat & #Mainau session today. Time between decision and sitting on the last reasonable 🚢 was less than 1 hour. 😁 Soooo good!

Everything was calm, sun slowly setting and this was the perfect place for a backpack dinner & some #journaling.

Much needed recharge time happened this afternoon & evening. First of all: tourist-shipping to #Mainau. Some walkies on the Island. And lots of walkies back home - always along my beloved #Bodensee towards the setting sun.

Ganz besonders stolz bin ich, und natürlich auch das ganze Mainau-Team darüber, dass es eine #Orchidee gibt, die nach uns benannt wurde. Es ist die #Epidendrum mainauanum, eine weißblühende Schönheit aus #Ecuador, die ich dort auch schon besuchen durfte 🤗
