The official filed a whistle-blower report, published on Tuesday morning by the office of Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) asserting that the “risky & haphazard” implementation of #Trump’s order could lead to a “catastrophic failure” in the #MailBallot system ahead of this year’s #midterms. The report said that the #USPS had planned to complete the new digital system overseeing mail ballots by Sept 1.

The AP headline's headline should read (since it's largely what's in the story):
"California mail voting rules worked, 150K ballots rejected"
Trump objections have always been "votes come in late and still count, anyone can send in a ballot" etc. The article makes it clear California is preventing that, despite the headline.

#Trump's lying about #Colorado again. To be clear, Colorado should be the model on which every state bases their #ballot system. Every #registeredVoter automatically receives a #mailballot that can either be mailed back, dropped off, or brought to a #pollingLocation on #electionDay. We have a #voterParticipationRate of over 80%, and a total of 15 cases of #fraud over more than a decade. This scares Trump and the #Republicans.
