Mural in Paris in support of the protests in Iran last year, following the death of Jina Mahsa Amini, a 22 year old Kurdish woman who was murdered by the morality police after being arrested and beaten after being accused of incorrectly wearing a hijab.

#OTD in 2022, Mahsa Jina Amini was murdered in Iran, fighting for women, life, freedom.

Anne Frank had words for her courage:

“I know what I want,
I have a goal, an opinion,
I have a religion and love.
Let me be myself and then I am satisfied.
I know that I am a woman,
a woman with inward strength and plenty of courage.”
