Die #EPortfolio-Software #Mahara springt vom #OpenSource-Zug ab und will für neue Versionen und Sicherheitsupdates kurzfristig Geld sehen. IMHO keine vertrauensbildende Maßnahe, denn es kann vulnerable Instanzen zurücklassen, die die 4.500$/Jahr nicht stemmen (können). Auf dem Weg zu einem nachhaltigen Geschäftsmodell wäre ein EOL fairer, wodurch Anbieter*innen in Ruhe zahlende Kund*innen werden können.
