It has been many weeks since I last played a quick draft on #MagicArena. This was a great ECL game. P1P1 was [[Oko, Lorwyn Liege]] even though I hardly ever play blue,. But hey, it counts as a green card too, right?
Ended up with a WUG deck and even if this is my only win in this event, the game itself was great. And yes, I only won because I got Oko out early enough.

Looking at Marvel Superheroes on #MagicArena, and some good news: The mastery track is 45 levels long, which is 2/3rds of Secrets of Strixhaven. I assume this means it's very short. There are 1200 gems in it, which means the whole thing 'costs' 2,200 gems.
I'm still going to have a hard time with it because I don't think I want to play Magic arena while it looks like this.

After SEVEN YEARS of playing #Mtg on #MagicArena I finally got to limited mythic!!
Now I have to try to grind constructed from plat3 to mythic in the last few days of the month because I may never get the chance again to hit the double mythic achievement!

Like I'm honestly kinda upset by this, I was *actually looking forward* to seeing another Omenpaths set which meant I didn't have to look at the Spider-Man set and hopefully wouldn't have to look at Marvel Superheroes. I am going to be, five years from now, a massive Omenpaths Truther, convinced those cards were 'better.'

Terrible news everyone. It seems that the much-anticipated upcoming Through The Omenpaths 2 set has been cancelled, and what's more, our wonderful Omenpaths cards are being replaced with this other IP, this 'spider man' stuff.

I've been playing Magic: Arena since the first wave of invites to the closed beta. It was TODAY that I realized that even though importing a decklist which contains cards you don't own puts it wayyy down at the bottom of your decks it still selects it, so you can just hit 'Edit' instead of scrolling all the way down to find it.
This is perhaps the most batshit crazy of batshit crazy UI choices I've seen in Arena.

No, I did not actually run 72% land in my Secrets of Strixhaven draft. But this particular game I got most of the mana from my deck in the first few turns. 13 out of 18 cards being lands, I think that is a record for me.
If it hadn't been for Decorum Dissertation I would probably have given up. Quickly drawing through 2 lands at a time is less frustrating than drawing 2 consecutive lands for turns on end.
Decorum Dissertation definitely won me the game here.

I understand why, for the sake of limited, they don't print Wraths at less than rare, but I really do wish, for the sake of my Block Constructed Arena decks, that they would print _some_ wraths at uncommon.
