my friend told me I should let go of being mad at Sol Ring and powerful cards (which is weird because I don’t feel like I do for the latter and I wouldn’t put them in the same bag but anyway) because she could sense salt postgame from me and I’m like… well yeah, our pal mulliganned for free 6 times without telling us, played a T1 Sol ring T2 permanent cheater in a 3-player game with a pretty strong B3 deck (at least I would say so, Derevi is annoying as fuck) and in my humble opinion, that pretty much won him the game. Me commenting on the Sol Ring play (and I admit, I need to work on my tone because I sound salty when I comment post-game) to look back at when we lost the game isn’t bad faith, I don’t think?
like im getting a bit tired of people equalling Sol Ring with “playing powerful cards” without understanding that playing a Sol Ring T1 into ramp is impossible to interact with if you don’t build specifically for it, is a B4 pattern of play and is game-winning, especially in a 3-player game, or am I crazy?
I don’t know, maybe I’m blowing this out of proportions but it’s really frustrating to have this arms race in front of you where you’re specifically avoiding putting Sol Ring in your <B4 decks but people aren’t removing it because they don’t want to be left behind, and they’re heeheehohoing about playing it when you’ve specifically said you don’t like the card in causal decks and you don’t play it. It’s irritating AF

Informe das partidas de #Commander de ontem.
O baralho do anel funcionou frouxo em multi, melhor en 1vs1. Mas require mais provas para verificar bem. (E nem um Nazgûl apareceu, já é má sorte).
O de velenos gripou em multi. E tinha mesa decente. Mas necessito fazer que as criaturas penetrem de alguma forma, poder ser mais agressivo.
O de Alesha respondeu bem em 1vs1 coas novas engádegas.
E já, forom partidas longas (usamos Planechase para a de velenos).

What a brilliant night. We spent 5 hours with a friend playing Magic and Pokémon at my local pub.
2 rounds of Dandân (pictured), 2 rounds of Battle Box and 3 rounds of Pokémon GLC.
So much fun.

My Doran, Besieged By Time deck *almost* took down a win tonight. Took out two of my three opponents with a Hyalopterous Lemure equipped with Bark of Doran, but sadly picked the wrong opponent for the second kill, and the remaining player drew into removal! Was still a super fun game.
Also, some great trades for some Berta deck upgrades, and slowly acquiring more for my planned Witherbloom, the Balancer deck.
