I think #SecretLair should always be printed to demand, with an initial limited print run, for folks that are in to that, that are visually distinctive in some way (e.g. bring white borders for the unlimited run) and ship immediately. The unlimited run ships as it gets printed, with reasonable delays. And we should go back and do the unlimited runs for all SecretLair products that sold out on the first day.

My second #MagicTheGathering set draft was fun today. We drafted Hobbit. I went 0-1-2 and learned that you run out of cards really fast so it's not feasible to play as many small spells I had drafted.
Every draft I learn something new that makes me better and that, in addition to playing with good friends, is what makes drafting so much fun.

Card night tonight ended up being against one of those "oh no it's a three, here's all my fucking eldrazi on turn 4" guys. Don't feel too bad about it because game 1 he lost to a Comeuppance, game 2 I tied with him (infinite life vs. infinite protection), and game 3 I brought out Brigid and stomped his ass <3

Tomorrow morning is Hobbit draft so last weekend I made myself a draft guide with explanations of the draft archetypes and generally good cards to pick.

See, the problem with Commander discourse is that you get people who play exclusively with random pods at their LGS, and people who play exclusively with friends, and these people give each other advice as though they're playing the same game.
