A confession: I collect Uniqlo's LifeWear magazine! Here's a study of their #12 issue cover (spring/summer edition)! I love how everything pops and how cute the building looks! Also created a few extra versions - which do you prefer?

Haunting Art
"Half-way up the stairs it stands,
And points and beckons with its hands
From its case of massive oak,
Like a monk, who, under his cloak,
Crosses himself, and sighs, alas!
With sorrowful voice to all who pass,--
"Forever--never!
Never--forever!"
'The Old Clock on the Stairs' a watercolor illustration by William Ladd Taylor, feels all the more haunting when paired with this snippet from the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem of the same name that it first appeared with in a 1904 issue of Ladies Home Journal.
