That Elf in the front of the sleigh is way too happy for 2025!
-
I did not expect to see Foreigner singing “Cold as Ice” on the same float as a demogorgon. But here we are.
-
And now there's "Spirit Of America Cheer" on 34th Street.
Cheerleaders. 600 "cheerleaders."
Same organization that runs the "dance" "all-stars," but I did see a few black faces among the hundreds of spastic white girls.
Rich, spastic white girls.
Another million dollars of beef on the street.
Siss, boom, bah.
-
The "Spirit Of America Dance All-Stars" is horseshit. 600 "dancers" clogging up 34th street. 599 of them are white.
This explains why:
https://spiritofamericaproductions.com/package-pricing/performer/
Each of them paid at least $3000 and as much as $4000 -- not including paying to get to and from New York -- to buy their way into this "all-star" "dance" "ensemble."
So, it's really "Spirit of Rich White America."
They were not very good, either.
It's from Dallass, Texass. Of course.

Love it when people get caught lip-syncing! Busta Rhymes audio “Okay New York!!!” but the video shows he is holding the microphone away from his face and his lips aren’t moving. He quickly moves the mic in from of his lips.

Whoever is responsible for keeping the parade moving along is doing a great job.
Because as everyone knows, real parades are like traffic, which start & stop and get bunched up

If you crave more broadway performaces, check out this curated list from past years.
Y’all, this was the highlight of my little gay boy year before I even understood what gay meant. So sad to see these performances dwindle down.
-
A Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade reminder. CBS no longer airs the parade, it’s only on NBC and Peacock now. As far as I know, coverage is the same on both networks.
There will only be three broadway musical numbers, and they are all scheduled within the first hour of the parade. 😢
The parade will be repeated at 2 pm
