So the ordering of frames in macos desktop overview is just nuts. I have found no workflow in which it makes sense. Am I missing something here ?

I know their UIX sucks, but I refuse to believe it is this bad!

I have just had to make a really tough call: whether to use mouse+keyboard, or mouse+storage, or keyboard+storage. This is amazing. WWYD?

My display has usb ports, but obviously they are not picked up by macOS (the Debian machine picked them up just fine...).

The storage is non-negotiable because I'm working with large datasets (shocking, I know, that one would try to work on this toy-machine).

Apple has singlehandedly screwed up the usability of personal computers. I have an M2 air which cannot power two monitors. I cannot attach usb-A devices like an external keyboard, mouse, external discs, I cannot attach an ethernet cable.

Unless, of course, I buy a very expensive hub. Cheaper hubs (like the one I have) will not support all that.

What is the use of all this bandwidth when you can't use it? Benchmarks? Fast browser-machines? What a waste of tech.

Ok, so who here travels with an apple machine ? Hopefully you don't use the clock on your system.

I hadn't realised that macos doesn't allow changing time-zones without a terminal command that issues an error (but changes the time-zones) !!
