Perhaps you've already bought, but I have a 2024 #mache and sorely regret it.
But I'm also fussy about certain things.
The climate control in this car is the worst of any car I've owned. Long story short: If you want consistent air hitting your face, this is not the car for you. If you're more an "Auto" person, then this won't be a problem.

#EV drivers of the #fediverse I'm hoping you can help me out. Our family is hoping to be buying an EV in the next few months and have narrowed our options to 4 (based on paper specs, online reviews, and budget)

- Volkswagen ID.4
- Toyota BZ
- Chevy Equinox EVOne of the things I noticed with at least two of them (the BZ and the Equinox) is that the phone app to allow you to precondition the car prior to departure requires a subscription. Do the other 2 (the MachE and the ID.4) also require a payed subscription or is it an included permanent feature?
Also I'd like to hear from owners about whether or not they would purchase their car again or if they wish they'd gone with a different one.

For those with Ford EV, looks like Google Maps has a bug with integration
Looks like rolling back to previous version of Google maps will fix it.
In the Mach-E integration, many of us are noticing that the destination mileage is being shown as 0.See the following

First time charging the #MachE at a Tesla Supercharger, one of the 325 kW models. OMFG, was this fast. It was going up like 1% every 30 seconds.

Valeriana officinalis ne vole pas son nom, on l’indiquait pour guérir tout et n’importe quoi jusqu’au XIXème. Dans ses usages réels, la #valeriane est avérée sédative et #anxiolytique (et comestible). C’est déjà pas mal.
Et c’est pourquoi on en cultive encore au XXIe siècle, notamment dans la région de #Vivy, dans le Maine-et-Loire

Have not been this deep into the pack in a long time! 181 miles round trip to visit family. Usually when I make this trip in cold weather, I keep it to 65 on the outbound leg, but today I threw caution to the wind and just did 75 the whole way both ways.
The computer says I got 2.5 miles/kw. Not too bad considering the weather and how I was driving.

So after putting some miles on the rack, both local and highway, I think I can say that this rack is super solid. I did a number of hard pulls, hard stops, and put some strong lateral-Gs on it all while loaded. I even kicked out the rear end of my Mach E at least once.
Not even a wiggle.
I'll still need to see how it holds up long term to Michigan weather, but for now I think I can safely suggest an 1UP rack if you are in the market.
I purchased the heavy duty model by the way. Not technically required for my current bike, but I wanted the flexibility in case I ever wanted to add on a second bike or an e-bike.
The only issue I've had so far is that, depending on how the bike is loaded, it may interfere with the blind spot sensor. I can avoid this with careful loading.
