  1. NIe, to nie jest widok z Sokoła Millenum w czasie przelotu nad Endorem. To jest Makedonium - niesamowity budynek w Macedonii - tzw. Spomenik w macedońskim Kruszewie – pomnik z 1974 roku upamiętniający powstanie ilindeńskie i wydarzenia II wojny światowej. Dziś jest jednym z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych przykładów jugosłowiańskiej architektury modernistycznej.

  4. this album gave me so much at the end of 90s

    Anastasia: Nocturnal

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCxXmflMoj4

Anastasia (Macedonian: Анастасија, romanized: Anastasija) was a Macedonian music group. The band was formed in 1987 as Apokrifna Realnost and changed their name to Anastasia in 1989.

Their music is a blend combining Byzantine past, through Eastern Orthodox Church music with a rich gamut of ethnic Macedonian music rhythms.

Anastasia have written several music scores for films, theater performances and TV programs. Their soundtrack for the Academy Award-nominated movie Before the Rain was released in 1994 by Polygram and sold thousands of copies worldwide. ... their last album to date, "Nocturnal," saw the band including electronic elements in their music as well.

    Discography
    Na rjekah vavilonskih (1988, self-released)
    Na rjekah vavilonskih (1990, DOM)
    Before the Rain (1994, PolyGram)
    Melourgia (1997, Libra Music)
    Nocturnal (1998, Third Ear Music)

  5. today i came across original painting that was used as a cover to 1980's Den Za Den S/T infuential/representative yugoslav jazz rock scene

we had this album at home. i don't know how much i listened to it as very young but as i'm listening now it feels like it is quite familiar -- actually just spoted a part that i'm 100% myself and Miklavž Pirnat aka Trypno Nu Psylocybe sampled circa 97'

    the album is pretty amazing:

it was a weird dejavu/image-spotting. of course also because the painting is futuro/sci-fi/gothic in content,... it is called CRUCIFIXION XX and is by Slobodan Zhivkovski and is dated 1976. digging around about Zhivkovski gets his behance and instagram as best sources, albeit poor and not resembling that painting much. he must have been very young when paiting it.

oh, and if you want to locate the paiting, it is in Restaurant Pelister right in the center of Skopje, on top of stairs otherwise leading to toilets, but well visible from the terace too.

  8. Dam, That’s Cool

    [Read on Ethical Revolution]

Removing river barriers no longer in use (which often entail safety issues when left unmaintained) can have positive effects on climate change.

Last year a record 603 dams were removed across Europe, reconnecting 2300 miles of waterways, according to Dam Removal Europe. In total they’ve overseen almost 10,000 barriers removed across the region.

All wins for nature, Sweden removed the most (173) in 2025, followed by Finland (143) and Spain (109). Meanwhile Iceland and Macedonia made their river-barrier-removal debuts!

Biodiversity gains have already been reported from last year’s dam removals.

  10. I Need to Rewrite Chapter 7

Chapter 7 is about how a society can move from an oligarchy to TDG governance.

The oligarchy I used to base this transition was the former Yugoslavia, under the guidance of Josip Tito.

I now think Chapter 7 should be based on the possible American oligarchy.
