So it seems that #MacPass needs a backport, same for #MacDown, which starts, but doesn’t open any document.
Luckily #Adium starts without any problems, it just needs a #Matrix plugin of course:

I personally have been a #markdown user for over 10 years I'd say! I still remember using my first markdown editor called Mou (macOS). It was such a great app, it made me enjoy taking notes back in college.
I found out there was an #opensource "fork" of it actually called #MacDown but sadly, the last update was in 2020.

Here is a review of the OG Mou app:

If you're new to markdown, try this cool tutorial I found:

#recs pls for a good, trustworthy #markdown editor that supports syntax highlighting & (optionally) live preview [ #RIP #MacDown ⚰️ I've finally (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ ]
prefer cross-platform, primary OS rn is macOS but I also use Linux & Win
NOT interested in anything online / cloud / SaaS / browser-based
NOT interested in any "AI" bullshit
NOT interested in having to install a LAMP stack or equivalent on my laptop just to get pretty markdown
NOT interested in a monthly / annual subscription, but I'm happy to pay a reasonable price (or donate to an open-source project, ofc.)
#boost4reach pls 💕

Neu in meinem Wiki: Mit Mermaid Diagramme erstellen

Anyone knows a #markdown editor for #macos that supports attributes?
I’m using this Markdown-it extension to add classes to images in my #eleventy projects, for example: https://www.npmjs.com/package/markdown-it-attrs
Not yet supported in:
- #MacDown: https://github.com/MacDownApp/macdown/issues/1112
- Visual Studio #Code ’s MD Preview Enhanced: https://github.com/shd101wyy/markdown-preview-enhanced/issues/1258
