Last night I saw "macbitches", a play by Sophie McIntosh, at the Shakespeare Tavern. It was fabulous. Five women, all in the drama department at a college, have just gotten the cast list for the upcoming production of "Macbeth" and - surprisingly - the role of Lady Macbeth has gone to a freshman. What follows is a mixture of comedy and drama and violence that is familiar in this particular venue.

There are only two more performances - tonight and tomorrow night. It's on the small stage, so there aren't that many seats available. Don't miss is.
