2024 Porsche Macan
While the Taycan was at the dealer for some work, they very kindly leant me a brand new (less than 500 miles on the clock) 2024 Macan. Not, of course, the upcoming EV version of the Macan, but a regular ICE version.

This captures a few of my thoughts on this vehicle, not compared to the Taycan, but to a 2018 Audi Q5 - its Audi badged cousin, but from 6 years ago.

A journey in two parts…

The #taycan had to go into the dealer today for some work, and they lent me a brand new (under 500 miles on the clock) #macan.

The drive in, including a drop off at school, was 21 miles with an average efficiency of 2.5 mi/kWh. The trip back was 19.3 miles with an efficiency of 24.8 mi/gal.

Cost? $1.26 for the Taycan and $3.89 for the Macan. And I can tell you the Taycan is a much nicer place to be as well.
