What I added to this fork:

- disconnect only selected devices
- keep keyboard and mouse wake working
- restore previous Bluetooth state on wake
- modernized for macOS 13+
- pure Swift now
- local linting and CI

Interesting... I can't remember the last time tooltips in #macOS got any sort of visual update but in macOS Golden Gate, they now have rounded corners. This also includes the auto-expanding tooltips on labels.

Beta 4 systemów 26.6

Apple udostępniło czwarte wersje beta systemów z rodziny 26.6.

Tydzień po trzeciej becie Apple wypuściło dziś czwartą rundę testów dla całej rodziny systemów oznaczonych numerem 26.6, jak informuje MacRumors. Rejestrowani deweloperzy mogą już pobrać nowe wersje z poziomu Ustawień, w sekcji Ogólne, wybierając Aktualizację oprogramowania.

To już ten etap cyklu, w którym Apple po prostu domyka temat iOS 26 przed wrześniową premierą iOS 27. Nie należy się spodziewać żadnych nowych funkcji, a jedynie poprawek błędów i wydajności. Jedyne dwa elementy, które warto odnotować, wracają z poprzednich bet: nowe komunikaty informujące o przekroczeniu limitu zablokowanych kontaktów oraz wciąż niepotwierdzona ostatecznie funkcja blokująca iPhone’a, gdy ktoś spróbuje wyrwać go z ręki — pisałem o niej szerzej przy okazji jej pierwszego pojawienia się w kodzie.

Warto śledzić tempo tych aktualizacji z innego powodu niż same funkcje. Cotygodniowy rytm bet sugeruje, że Apple planuje wydać finalną wersję iOS 26.6 stosunkowo szybko — być może jeszcze w lipcu, na długo przed tym, jak uwaga wszystkich przesunie się w stronę pierwszej publicznej bety iOS 27.

Spent the past couple of days trying to eliminate all the personal data and applications from a friends 2006 Windows XP desktop PC. I must say that seeing the immense stupidity of that system, which included multiple “blue screens of death”, I have come to appreciate my switch to macOS a couple of years prior to that box seeing the light of day. macOS has its warts and disappointing moments, but I’m so glad I’m not having to deal with Windows anymore! #macOS #Windows #PC #GearSquad
