It was on an "Americana" Playlist. Sounded more like punk rock to me.
Really liked it.

Didn't think I would like a cover of "Wichita Lineman" because Glenn Campbell's voice is so unique.
This is different enough to me that it works as its own thing and not a direct cover.

Missed the Dropkick Murphys (they played at 4pm Central) but enjoying this concert livestream at 6:10pm Central.

I saw Flo & Eddie in my first ever concert in Pensacola, Florida. A reunion show that opened up with Leon Redbone and had Gary and the Playboys and the Grass Roots. All were extremely entertaining, but The Turtles were the funniest. Because of one of their hairstyles, I thought they became the magicians Penn & Teller. Ages didn't match up, but back then, no deep internet to check. Also how my brother falsely convinced me Leon Redbone was Frank Zappa in disguise.

Bicycled 65K yesterday to Lanesboro.
Forgot I traded out my studded tires and crashed *up* a hill. I'm fine, bicycles fine. Just embarrassed. Up a hill hydroplaning over water I didn't catch over transparent ice. Studded tires I would have been able to correct, regular tires just slid.

Reba McIntyre and band was wonderful.
Ozzy tribute was really good.
The "In Memoriam" was my favorite of all of it. Sad to see so much talent gone away.
Kendrick Lamar is amazingly talented, just not for me.
Generational stuff changes so fast now. Not 10 or 5 years like the past, now a matter of months, it seems.

When I first purchased my first vinyl records on my own I picked them only by the covers:
"Beat Crazy" by #JoeJackson
"Little Creatures" by The #TalkingHeads
and a completely black album cover that turned out to be:
" #SpinalTap " which I thought was a real band because they reminded me of my older brother's "Uriah Heep" record.
Talking Heads is my favorite band
Like Keith Haring art.
Enjoyed movie "This is Spinal Tap" later.Lucked out, IMHO.

When their album "Shake Your Money Maker" came out, the Sam Goody music store I worked at, all the employees requested it to be played, up to and including the hardcore jazz fans. Everyone liked it. That was unheard of at the time.

This hasn't happened as often as it used to, but yesterday, for no real reason, I started thinking about the Simon & Garfunkel song "I am a Rock".
Then I hummed it when I was outside the grocery store, sang "I am a rock" at the exact same time a radio station from a car was playing the song had those lyrics playing.

At the end of the movie "Drop" there's a single called "Healing" by FLETCHER.
Showing my age because I didn't like the music at all. Way too overproduced for my taste. But the lyrics are fantastic. Really moving. For me, personally, it would be better as a "Gordon Lightfoot" or "Linda Ronstadt" style of music song.
I liked the movie. Was it great? No. Was it bad? No. A solid just good suspense movie that I enjoyed.
