I don't care for cars or sports and love musical theatre. Which a lot of people in high school and college erroneously thought was proof.
Years ago a gay friend of mine wanted to believe I wasn't straight. He thought that I liked this song's video was also proof.
Watching this song again now -- I don't get it. I mean, it's *a lot of women* I enjoy looking at and feeling sympathy for. Why?

I saw the band "They Might Be Giants" in Nashville in the late 1990s.
They were fantastic.
I'm older and can't handle crowds as well now.
If *you* can afford the time and money they are worth it.
In Wisconsin:
They're playing in Milwaukee this Thurday and Friday, Madison on Fiday and Saturday.
In Minnesota;
They're playing Minneapolis the next week in October on Thursday and Friday and St. Paul on Saturday and Sunday.

Just heard that Dolly Parton @dollyparton died. Her "Rockstar" album was one I bought on a whim and really enjoyed.
Loved her in the movie "9 to 5" and just watched "Joyful Noise" which I enjoyed.
She's done so much good for this world.

Heard "Wander Alone" by Tiger Army.
It was on an "Americana" Playlist. Sounded more like punk rock to me.

Didn't think I would like a cover of "Wichita Lineman" because Glenn Campbell's voice is so unique.
This is different enough to me that it works as its own thing and not a direct cover.

UPDATE: What I saw was great!

I saw Flo & Eddie in my first ever concert in Pensacola, Florida. A reunion show that opened up with Leon Redbone and had Gary and the Playboys and the Grass Roots. All were extremely entertaining, but The Turtles were the funniest. Because of one of their hairstyles, I thought they became the magicians Penn & Teller. Ages didn't match up, but back then, no deep internet to check. Also how my brother falsely convinced me Leon Redbone was Frank Zappa in disguise.

Bicycled 65K yesterday to Lanesboro.
Forgot I traded out my studded tires and crashed *up* a hill. I'm fine, bicycles fine. Just embarrassed. Up a hill hydroplaning over water I didn't catch over transparent ice. Studded tires I would have been able to correct, regular tires just slid.

Ozzy tribute was really good.
The "In Memoriam" was my favorite of all of it. Sad to see so much talent gone away.
Kendrick Lamar is amazingly talented, just not for me.
Generational stuff changes so fast now. Not 10 or 5 years like the past, now a matter of months, it seems.

Okay, "Sombr" name I just caught I looked at, not because of his voice, but because the song sounded like a 1970 disco song from 1977. Didn't care for it then, nor now. Not for me.
Okay, I kinda like this Bad Bunny song.
Also really liked that he said "Ice out."
Thought it was a new person with a catchy song, but was Lady Gaga with my new favorite modern song, "Abracadabra".

Watched the good costume and choreography song with Sabrina Carpenter singing. Talented, song just was not for old fuddy duddy me.
Listened to just voices and looked when I liked vocals.
Addison Rae. Liked her.
Lola Young singing from the piano. Really liked them.
Female vocalist right after in short red dress with a nice bop. 1950s to 1960s sound. (I think Olivia Dean, who won the Grammy for best new artist.) My favorite so far.
