This would certainly explain the power outage to my local bodega (a block away from my house) last week.
I managed to pull in to the bodega(directly behind the downed power pole) ~30 minutes later and, thankfully, missed the whole kerfuffle. -

Came out to my deck, today, & saw about 12 apparant law enforcement officers meandering in the apartment complex parking lot. They were wearing tactical vests with various labels: #Police #DEA Customs & Border Patrol #CBP.
They seemed to be wrapping something up; although they had no one in custody. Seemed pretty relaxed as they removed their vests.
Fucking terrifying. My apt. complex is mostly immigrants and I fear for them.

I am wildly ambivalent about the #LynnwoodWA #LightRail opening up literally next door(~200 yards) to us in a week.
It's gonna be a clown show.
As a pedestrian, I'm thankful that the sidewalks are going to mostly re-open again after 2-3 years. But, I'm not sure it's gonna be safe(r).

Edmonds is asking for feedback for their #urban plan! They're doing what we want, more medium housing, more transit, more walking and biking. But NIMBY-ers are quickly filling in the comments and calls, literally with phrases like "anti cars" and saying they need MORE parking lots, less housing. PLEASE boost and share with your other friends, let's encourage #cycling and #transit
