Following up on the #LutonAirport #fire ...
The 4 firefighters and 1 airport staff worker hospitalized were all for smoke inhalation.
It is considered accidental. Initial car fire was believed to be a diesel vehicle.
"One witnessed said he saw an explosion on the roof of the car park followed by a "flame that shot across the car park like a flamethrower".
After that, he saw cars exploding "every few minutes".

BBC confirms that Terminal Car Park 2 has suffered "a significant structural collapse" according to Bedfordshire Fire Service says.

Very strange experience at mid term car park #LutonAirport warning - surface is now like building site -airport has discontinued the shuttle bus (taped over the signs) and it takes 10 -15 minutes to walk with your luggage across a busy road and under the underpass. When you pick up the car the parking ticket you paid for on-line is not recognised- don’t pay 105 pounds it asks -ring the help button !.

The slightly weird plane access continued at #LutonAirport- at the gate they made people wait on the stairs for about 20 minutes after getting through the final checkin. 2hrs delay so people queuing on the plane for the loo also strangely at the arrival airport the mens toilets were closed so chaps were queuing at the one disabled loo. Very difficult if you are elderly or have a disability - #Harshtravel

Also to note at #LutonAirport there appears to be only two sets of loos and none by the gates was a long queue for the mens

Just to be aware there is no bus service at the #Luton Mid stay carpark need to walk the 15 minutes to the #LutonAirport - tiny sign as you enter the carpark stating this - Oh dear - not good in the snow - don’t know how many people have been caught out here!
