I took some older moon data and learned how to process the data so that the moon mineral colors were visible. That was a lot of fun! I love the results! #astrophotography #LunarAstrophotography #moon #lunar #astronomy 🔭 📷

Scored some time to play with my partial lunar eclipse data from Tuesday. Despite wildfire smoke, thin fast moving cloud cover and moderately bad seeing - I was able to get a few good shots off. This one just before the max. #astrophotography #lunareclipse #LunarAstrophotography #moon #astronomy 🔭 📷

These are some mountains and craters near the #lunar south pole casting shadows near the dividing line between night and day. The image was made at about 06:00 UTC on 24th February, just a few hours before the #Moon was full.
Close to the center of this image is the crater Malapert A, where the #Odysseus spacecraft has come to rest on its side. The pole itself is 300 km further away in the darkness.
