Until we have true solidarity between what Marx deemed the "lumpenproletariat", ie folks with various reasons for being homeless and/or jobless*, and those of us with the privilege of having extra shit like cars, we will continue to have our shit taken just like the rich. I don't want to hear complaints about your car getting broken into until we are ALL ready to stand with those "below" us against our collective oppressors.That person is starving, you can go without a back window.
* One of the things I disagree with Marx on. He viewed them as a detriment to the revolution, too dependent on the systems. Anyone who's ever been or known someone on food stamps or unemployment knows just how stupid that conclusion is. Those things are intentionally demeaning, leading to deep seeded resentments.

Ein bisschen in die Geschichte der Sozialdemokratischen Partei geschaut und alle können sehen, auf welche Seite sich die SPD oft genug geschlagen hat, wenn es darauf ankam (nebenbei: deshalb ist es stets besonders schäbig, wenn zeitgenössische SPD-Menschen sich in die Reihe jener mutigen Genoss:innen stellen, die sich Hitler widersetzt haben, denn keine SPD-Abgeordneter heute, hat auch nur den Bruchteil jener Konsequenz und Aufrichtigkeit).
Aber zurück zum Thema: politisch der Linken zuzugehören schützt per se nicht vor dem treten nach unten. Denken wir nur an Marx und dessen Diktum vom 'Lumpenproletariat'.
Hier treffen sich dann CDU und SPD, deshalb ist die SPD auch nicht gegen die Reform: die Verachtung für Arme, steckt tief in der SPD. Mitunter womöglich sogar mehr als, ich wage mich kaum es zu sagen, als bei der CDU.

Also alleine sein Nebenjob bei der CDU bringt ihm monatlich mehr, als eine:e Bürgergeldbezieher:in im gesamten Jahr zur Verfügung hat.
Zu den geldwerten Vorteilen die in der Liste fehlen gehört noch der Limousinenservice: d.h. alle Abgeordneten können sich des Fährdienstes des Bundestages bedienen um innerhalb Berlins zu ihren dienstlichen Terminen in kuscheligen Oberklasseautos chauffiert zu werden (das Lumpenproletariat fährt mit dem ÖPNV, der in Berlin gerne auch mal nicht fährt).
Aber von diesen wirtschaftlichen Verhältnissen des CDU-Abgeordneten abgesehen, Kern des Problems scheint mir, dass -mal wieder- gegen Arme gehetzt wird, Stimmung gemacht wird gegen jene die keine finanzstarke Lobby haben.
Was ist mit den 100 Milliarden (!) die jährlich durch Steuerhinterziehung dem Fiskus entgehen? Warum hilft Dr. Linnemann nicht mal in diesem Bereich dem Bundestag und der Bundesregierung baut die Sprünge?
Ach, Dr. Linnemann hat BWL studiert? Und VWL? Ach, er hat bei der Deutschen Bank gearbeitet? Na klar, dann hat er es nicht so mit einem Kampf gegen Steuerhinterziehung...

Issue 16 of #Lumpen is devoted to #class and #care and features takes on these themes from a variety of writers who share the experience of poverty and class-based discrimination. Lumpen's editor, Amy, wrote:
'Care is the hidden, knotty and essential work that makes the world go round. It happens behind closed doors. Those early mornings, late nights, meals made, lifts given, medication reminders, bus timetables translated, forms filled, money lent, washing up, bums wiped. It’s the hardest fucking work you will ever do.
It is underfunded. It is often performed for free or under the guise of ‘love’. Like the #lumpenproletariat, care has been condemned in the Left as unorganisable. It does not fit into boxes or frameworks. It is difficult to theorise. It is disproportionately conducted by migrant, racialised, and feminised bodies.
