I'm sure if I get the right components together I could make something similar with a little 3D printing. Wouldn't even mind Apple releasing a collectable device, with a limited run of programs on it. However in light of the current dystopian world we are moving towards, it may not be the right DIY project.

An interesting comment from Dan Erickson in the S2:E2 after show reminding us that we still don't know what Lumon does, or what Kier told his children regarding how to proceed.
That, to me, doesn't indicate anything regarding resurrecting Kier, in any way or form, it's about doing something that would create a lasting legacy.
Like helping the world to tame their Tempers, and Jame and Harmony decided the chip is the solution.

Simple question, difficult to fully and accurately answer.
That recurring question is the fundamental theme of Severance and what the show is exploring, above all.
We all contain multitudes and Kier delusionally believed he had but four, which he "tamed".
The Eagan cult believes the same and that the chip is the key to doing so for literally everyone.
The MacroDat Uprising proves "the we we are" is the sum of our parts, not some of our parts.

Not resurrection, or immortality, other than symbolically, but simple global domination in their image and for their own power and ego satisfaction.

This makes me more confident in my theory of what Lumon is working on, far more than theories of resurrection, consciousness switching between dead and living bodies, and cloning.
Especially when it comes to Kier, who died long before any technologies existed to preserve any aspect of his existence, corporeal or otherwise, meaning there's nothing from which to recreate him.
Worker pacification, and avoidance of discomfort for the wealthy, are their goals.

Anyway, episode 9 of season 2 was another excellent one.
I've loved every episode this season and look forward to how they end the season next week.
Not a single weak or bad one in the bunch, with episodes 4 and 7 being outstanding.
I've rewatched the Twilight Zone episode the title of this Severance episode references* in the last year or so, but need to watch it again for clues.

It's disappointing how many theory channels I watch on YouTube covering Severance don't reference the Lumon Letter, MDR handbook, or Lumon Industries videos.
Lumon isn't working on Kier resurrection, Erik Voss, et. al 🙄, but on creating "perfect" workers and "eliminating" the experiencing of negative events.
No one wants to relinquish power to a new Kier.
An LI video mentions service, followed by the image of a missile launch, and the Dorner incident is similar.
