Went ashore and read the interpretive signs to learn about this place. It's #Lummi land now, but it has a history of mining and quarrying. When the Lummi Heritage Trust bought it, they removed the docks, did a bunch of planting, fenced off the quarry area, put up the interpretive signs, and installed the mooring balls, which are free with a two night maximum stay. I'm the only one here. I didn't see anything anywhere that said I couldn't drop a crab trap here, so I did. #boating #PNW

#HouseOfTearsCarvers will bring the pole to #California & #Arizona & #OakFlat site for #prayers on March 24–25. Then to #NewMexico , #Nevada & #Idaho to reach their home at #LummiNation by April 1. The group also #invited interested people to visit them during a #GatheringOfTheEagles - May 21–29 to see #canoe #families pass through #SanJuanIslands & culminate in several days of #celebration at the #Lummi #reservation near #Bellingham
