Like. I never got to date as my authentic self. I didn't get to make stupid romantic mistakes as my authentic self. I didn't get to fall in love as my authentic self*.

And while I am upset about not getting those experiences, I for damn sure do not want to date now.

But this LARP was pretty damn close, somehow? Narrative distance and all, there were so many feels! My breath hitched, my heart beat faster, it was a RIDE.

I just backed Lumberjills, a larp about the Women's Timber Corps, their joy, competence and friendships. It describes itself as "Feel-Great Play", and I'm here for that.
