Bonus squee: I mentioned how one of my most favorite things in #Lumberjanes was the mixtape playlists themed to the story of a particular issue; they really sold the authenticity of the camp experience. Ellis replied, โYep, thatโs all me!โ and explained that mixtape trading was something from her own experience that she wanted to include. It felt great to thank her directly.

Took the kiddo to pick up comics at a FLCS this afternoon and by astounding coincidence and to our great surprise met Grace Ellis (writer of #Lumberjanes, Moonstruck, and more) who was there as part of Free Comic Book Day! Lumberjanes is an all-time fav for both of us so we enjoyed being totally star struck, getting autographs, and generally chatting her up.
