Marvel Ultimate Alliance with Perry Constantine (Superhero Cinephiles, Japan on Film)
This week on play comics we ask ourselves what happens if you you can’t decide what you want to make a game about. Should you just give up? Should you really dig into your soul and decide what you’re super passionate about? Should you look and see if there’s any other related media coming out that you can tie this game into? Or should you act like you’re at the end of five different boxes of sugary cereal and justice dump the mall into a single bowl and see what happens?
There’s certainly one thing that I made my mind up about this one, and that’s how Perry Constantine from Superhero Cinephiles and Japan on Film needed to come by and help me make sure that I kept everything straight here. And it’s a good thing too because with more playable character than I want to count spread out across 7 consoles upon release and a few more as back catalogs were taken advantage of it would have been really easy to miss something here.
So was there an actual story for this game? Or was it just a giant excuse to squeeze in as many tidbits as they could so the other kids would think they’re cool? You’ll have to listen to find out!

So, I'm watching Luke Cage, and it's awesome, but these two Jamaican guys are talking and I swear I need subtitles. I know they're speaking English, but for some reason the Jamaican accent is tough for me to understand.
Same goes with Scottish sometimes. I worked with (25 years ago) a Scottish guy, and I could not understand a single word he said to me.

Finally managed to finish Luke Cage season 1. I'm loving the intrigue and gang politics, but I'm bored by the character. Too overpowered, if you ask me. I did enjoy the amount of Claire we got though, she is great.
Already started with Iron Fist season 1, and I kinda like the premise.
However, I'm really doing this to get to The Defenders, and Jessica Jones seasons 2 and 3 as well as The Punisher, because I'm enjoying both of these characters a lot.

Finished Jessica Jones now. And all the former Netflix Defenders series.
Lots of unlovable characters. But probably the best series of Defenders because of the noir and the sass and the moral greyness!
Second best was Luke Cage. Then Daredevil. Then not bothering with Iron Fist. And Punisher is WAY off the bottom of "not even bothering to watch it".

First time through, I watched Daredevil and Defenders.
Second time through (with my wife) and we've also watched Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. But not Iron Fist.
Overall, this seems like the best approach. Focus on Jessica and Luke, let Danny be a whiney little rich boy in the corner, and watch Daredevil if you want the more violent fights and the Kingpin story line.
