Das Politiksystem der Gesellschaften ist binär codiert: Regierung vs. Opposition, durch das Medium "Macht vs. keine Macht."
Das muss auch so sein, denn das ist schließlich die Aufgabe der Politik. Macht zu erlangen ist in demokratisch organisierten Gesellschaften etwas ausdifferenzierter, in anderen Systemen ist der Weg dorthin kürzer. (Oder wie Söder glaubt: Demokratie beschränkt sich bitte auf den Wahlgang...)
Politische Inhalte sind im Politiksystem Mittel zum Zweck und (erscheinen) daher beliebig und austauschbar. Sie sind Programme. Programme können wechseln, der Code bleibt.
Deshalb stimmen "die Grünen" oder "die SPD" auch für Dinge, die ihren formulierten oder den ihnen zugeschriebenen moralischen Grundsätzen nicht entsprechen und bei den jeweiligen Sympathisanten für Stirnrunzeln sorgen.
Moral gehört gar nicht zum System der Politik, bzw. nur insofern, ob sich Moral in Macht übersetzen lässt. Moral ist kein eigenes ausdifferenziertes Funktionssystem, sondern eine unspezifische Kommunikationsform, die quer durch alle Systeme aufkommt und genau deshalb strukturell schwach ist.

Und bei #Trump ist es gerade sehr "spannend", dass er gleichzeitig faschistisch und imperialistisch agiert. Da er somit sein System nach innen und aussen gleichzeitig unter Druck setzt, sollte die Sache gründlich in die Hose gehen. Zumindest nach dem bisschen #Luhmann-Wissen, dass ich habe.
