So on top of the troubles from yesterday, it seems the tutorial I was following for the thing (because it's completely new territory for me) is broken. The math just doesn't work out. I did find a better one, but I think I'll have to rip out all the existing code either way. Just working it out on my own would be more satisfying, too

Either way I think it's safe to say this game won't be ready in time for the jam. Maybe I'll make something else, sth small. idk
