@0x0961h I swear everyone disliking the theme is almost a core tennet of #ludumdare at this point 😄

surprisingly I don't hate most of the themes that got in the final round this time lol

there was a really long period where the people who voted on it seemed hell-bent on picking a theme that would only work for like 3 genres (if that)

maybe the influx of beginners got bored with the contest and the community un-diluted itself, who knows

or maybe they finally experienced more than a few jams to understand what a good theme should be like
