cosmosy's agency has made the bold claim that the Japanese girl group belongs to Kpop's "sixth generation":
Besides my finding talk of Kpop "generations" ever more confusing, I thought that the song had a Latin sound of a style that was popular a couple of year ago but seem to have gone out of fashion more recently.

Then I saw this M Countdown stage, in which I thought they looked so much more attractive.
The group is actually Japanese, and I wonder if the Music Bank styling conformed more to Jpop styling conventions. Perhaps somebody who know more about Jpop than I do -- @miasmicfungus comes to mind - might be able to provide some informed commentary.

What a difference a change in styling can make!
When I first saw this Music Bank stage of cosmosy -- Lucky=One, I was immediately put off by their appearance, especially the pasty white make up and elf ears. I found myself thinking of some nightmarish tale in which beings like this were bringers of disease and death.
The look is derived from a sequence in the MV, which I found baffling.
