The trams in #Gorzów Wielkopolski bring forth some kind of admiration from me.
The #tram network there is almost literally two perpendicular lines, as you can see on the attached schema. Apparently it isn't the shortest tram network in Poland but it's in the top. It has suffered from neglect, attempts to liquidate them entirely, but it prevailed — and in fact, through 2017–2020 it was completely modernized and then extended.
Today it's a network requiring two-direction trams (i.e. ones requiring cabins at both ends, and doors on both sides), since it has non-loop line terminations.
Let's also not forget that Zielona Góra (the other administration center of #Lubusz voivodeship, i.e. natural competitor to Gorzów) doesn't have trams.

Today, I have some photos from #GórkiNoteckie, that I've been meaning to publish for over a month now.
The track is a path east of Santoczna #river, in Buki Zdroiskie im. prof. Lucjana Agapowa Reserve (two first photos), then Wełminko #Lake (third photo) and Lake Duże Wełmino (fourth photo). Linguistic curiosity: "Wełminko" is a diminutive of "Wełmino", and "duże" means "large". Both lakes feature a waterside path on the east shore, though it's a bit overgrown (back then, with wet grass that I didn't have the right shoes for) on the bit between the lakes. The road on the western side goes a little away from the lake, so it's not as scenic.

Yesterday, I've witnessed that railbuses have returned to the #ZielonaGóra — #GorzówWielkopolski railway line. It's a bit funny that SA105 unit probably has fewer seats than the road buses they've used as a temporary replacement (but it has greater comfort, and probably better accessibility for the disabled).

👎 Take a train from #ZielonaGóra to Zbąszynek.
👍 Take a train from Zielona Góra to Gorzów Wielkopolski, cancelled between Zbąszynek and Gorzów Wielkopolski.Or: how do different regions deal with partiality electrified railroad routes? Lower Silesia sends hybrid trains. #Lubusz voivodeships sends an old electric multiple unit (EN57, also known as "the can", in rough translation), and then organizes replacement bus (as in road vehicle, not #rail).
Yes, they still are in "cancelled" state of mind. Leszno — Głogów trains are being regularly cancelled too. And some trains near the border.
