30 years!!!
I'll bet the lawyers made sure the contracts are without loopholes. What I found interesting and extremely annoying, predatory, is retirement home and LTCs management teams will do their best to figure out a person's income. and raise rents accordingly.
For example every senior receives a government benefit, so when it's increased rents are increased accordingly.
Net result? As inflation increases, the senior's buying power DEcreases. If they are living on government benefits eventually they can't afford to buy new clothing or shoes, replace mattresses or bedding, buy incontinence supplies, and so on.
Imagine not being able to buy a comfortable mattress, or new shoes. It happens. I've seen it.edit:
Here's the fee schedule from the Ontario government
Note: In order to receive a subsidy, for example if one is on ODSP, the government takes away nearly all of your income and leaves the resident with last I heard it was $78.00 a month--that's for soap, shampoo, toilet paper, deodorant, shaving supplies, clothing, shoes, phone and cable, hair cuts, and recreation like books and crafts.

It's been a month since I applied for a license to carry to the Boston Police Department. I haven't heard anything back, so I called to check in on the status.
They said they're still processing applications from last July! There are thousands of applications ahead of mine in the queue.
Apparently a lot of people in very blue Boston got the same idea I did after watching Trump do his thing.
I'm glad people are taking things that seriously.

https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/26350106261422691- We only found papers relating to T1DM (and only n=4)
- Experiences split into (i) general experience of self management, and (ii) barriers/facilitators in their environment
- All studies were conducted in Western/ #HIC countries

What are the differences between Bitcoin and Litecoin?
At first glance, they seem almost the same – but despite being faster and cheaper, LTC never reached Bitcoin’s level. We take a closer look in our article: https://auriccrypto.com/btc/bitcoin-vs-litecoin-key-differences-and-similarities/

We had our QUASAR #research group meeting at the @nursing today. We had great discussions around r package development on nurse staffing, an international study on triage in the ED, surveying pre-implementation perceptions on medical indicators in #LTC and a sustainable dementia care model in LTC. Niklaus Labhardt was our special guest presenting their fascinating work on reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases in rural Lesotho.
A lot to exchange, a lot to gain and a lot of fun! 🥳

Summarising literature from 25yrs, the paper shows that most studies investigating cost in global #NCD research emphasise tangible costs (direct & indirect expenses), while largely neglecting intangible costs:
