  2. Hello out there,
an intense last month has gone by, I managed the lion's share of my teaching duty! 👌 Yesterday the exams were written, I keep my fingers crossed for all our students! Right now I am trying to squeeze in some FRET measuremnents before Christmas holidays, hopefully I'll finish in time ;)
Is anyone experienced in using the tau interaction of Leica Stellaris systems? It is kind of a simplified FLIM. It is really nice to be free of fluorophore concentration problems. Can anyone advise where the pitfalls of this method are? Would be too good to believe if this was the perfect method :)

btw, there are 2 new open PhD positions in our group - I will post them later on!

Have a nice holiday season and merry christmas to those who are celebrating!

  3. "Ring Deconvolution Microscopy: An Exact Solution for Spatially-Varying Aberration Correction" by Amit Kohli et al. 2023 arxiv.org/abs/2206.08928

Claims to solve the spatially-varying problem of deconvolution that makes it so computationally expensive, and with a single calibration image per instrument. Eager to give it a try soon.
