I mean it’s always nice to see one’s hometown highlighted but I really don’t associate Ridgway with Tacoma so much as King County? Don’t get me wrong; I appreciate the attention. Curious as to how we ended up in the episode title is all. Guess I’ll find out. Maybe Ridgway was more active in the City of Destiny than I remember.

Have reduced how often I listen to Last Podcast on the Left Side Stories due to how they now dedicate a chunk of every episode to Epstein. There are much better podcasts to go to to deep dive Epstein, I listen to Side Stories because I want, well, the weird shaggy dog true crime stories they are supposed to specialize in on that show.

The last two days I've spent a lot of my breaks from school rewatching old sketches by the Murderfist comedy troupe that featured several of the big people from the Last Podcast Network. A decent way to keep my spirits up on a couple of bitterly cold, windy days, they are very funny still despite the odd bit of ironic -isms scattered about.

Usually, when the political/current events podcasts are too heavy, I go back and listen to every episode ever recorded about L. Ron Hubbard. Unfortunately, I have listened to them to recently and now have to branch out. Time to revist: Madame Blavatsky!

Last Podcast on the Left had such a huge glowup when they pushed out the genuinely dumb, sexist, permadrunk libertarian fucknut in Ben Kissel for the hilarious, kind, genuine and intelligent Ed Larson. I think they have done some of their best work with Eddie, including him even leading series from time to time as the lead researcher and narrator which Kissel could never have done given how clueless he'd be about things he even really liked such as wrestling.

It was announced today that the Last Podcast on the Left boys teamed up with the great character actor, and good friend of the show, David Dastmalchian to record a #Halloween Spooky Sounds-type album they are releasing digitally and on vinyl, and now all I want to do is listen to spooky sounds recordings. I have one on CD I got years ago for free in a public domain horror DVD boxset, and I have Disney's Haunted Mansion record queued up right now.

Gotta admit I was not super jazzed at the idea of this episode but I am finding it really compelling and thoughtful. There are stretches where the tone gets more serious than I would’ve anticipated.

#LPOTL really should've vetted her more. It's not hard to find ample evidence of RH Stavis **promising** clients communication with dead loved ones. Which is: real messed up & shady.
That said, and I do *not* mean this as exonerative or exculpatory because they are ultimately responsible for who shows up on their network, it really does strike me that there was something unusual and not great in how this all came to pass

Last night's séance was deeply disappointing qua séance, but A. turned into a genuine bonding experience on the Patreon Discord and YouTube chat and B. was a marvelous time for me and @jdekg because we had lots of snax and, more importantly, @MaryHenry & @deathsausage to experience it with us live. 🔮

I was never planning on watching the Beyond the Veil special Last Podcast Network did because I don't like them supporting grifting ass cold readers which is all 80% of supposed psychics are, and because something like that sounds fun in theory but is often really awkward in practice. This is the reason John Edward had extensive editing.
Judging by the subreddit, I am guessing the whole thing was even worse than I was expecting and nobody really seemed to enjoy it

Burdening tonight's #LastStreamOnTheLeft with an unreasonable amount of responsibility for fixing my mood. It's a Marcus Mandate though so it might be delightful and life-affirming or it might render me unfit for human society. We'll see!
