The other day I shared a track by New Order. I went on to listen to Low-Life, the first time in ages I've played it all the way through. It was so good I didn't skip any tracks.

And I've just played it again, straight through. It's a great album.

One reason it resonates, forty years on, is that it was an album I played a lot when I first got a Walkman. I remember listening to Low-Life on the paltform at Waverley. It was like a personal soundtrack!
